Puerto Rico Open 2025 Venue
The 2025 Puerto Rico Open PGA will be played at Grand Reserve Golf Club, Río Grande, Puerto Rico. The Golf Club Championship field features 18 holes, par 72, 7,506 yards designed by Tom Kite. The course has ocean views and is surrounded by the El Yunque Rainforest. It’s covered in seashore paspalum grass and has white silica sand bunkers with several water hazards.
One of the best and most challenging holes on the course is the 12th hole, with an ocean front view. Considering its tropical weather, lightweight and breathable golf clothing is a must for a comfortable experience! Caps and sunglasses are highly recommended for sun protection.

1. Thursday, March 6, 2025

2. Friday, March 7, 2025

Round 2: 7:00 AM. This is a big round, as golfers need to improve their scores to move on the Puerto Rico Open 2025 leaderboard. After this round the cut line will be updated and only the top golfers will move on.

Puerto Rico Open Golf Tournament 2025 Format
There will be 4 rounds – 2 on Thursday and Friday and 2 on Saturday and Sunday. 18 holes will be played in each round. After the 2nd round, the top 65 and ties will make the 3rd round. If there’s a tie after the 4th round a playoff will determine the winner. Players will play by the PGA Tour’s official rule book. Each player will have a time frame to complete their round. If a player takes an incorrect shot or breaks a rule they will be given a stroke penalty. For example, if the ball goes into the water hazard and the player drops the ball they will be given a 1 stroke penalty.
If the ball ends up in a tough line (between trees or obstacles) a 2-stroke penalty will apply if the player drops the ball. If a player goes out of bounds they must go back to in bounds and take a penalty. If there’s a tie after the 4th round players will be called for a playoff. The playoff will be one hole and will continue until a winner is decided. Players will be given a time to complete each hole (per-hole time). If a player takes too long to finish their round they will be warned and if repeated they will be penalized.
