Arnold Palmer Invitational 2025 — Schedule, Tickets, and More

  • 5 min read

This year’s 2025 edition is shaping up to be thrilling with top players like Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, and Jordan Spieth. Past champions like Tiger Woods (8-time winner), Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Tyrrell Hatton have made their mark on this event. It delivers surprises and unforgettable moments every year, and the Arnold Palmer Golf Tournament 2025 will be no different.

Where Is The Arnold Palmer Invitational?

Arnold Palmer Invitational 2025 will be held at Bay Hill Club & Lodge, 9000 Bay Hill Blvd, Orlando, Florida. The Bay Hill course is a par-72 championship layout with tight fairways and water hazards, so it’s a test of skill, strategy, and endurance.

Arnold Palmer Invitational field in March is warm and pleasant, with daytime highs of 25°C and nighttime lows of 12°C. During the tournament duration, golfers may withstand 9 hours of sunshine and 7 days of rain. Wearing lightweight and breathable golf clothing can be a big plus for players. Don’t forget to bring a light golf jacket or sweater for the cooler mornings and evenings. And since rain is possible, golf raingear or an umbrella is a good idea.

In 1965, 7-time Major winner Arnold Palmer called Bay Hill Golf and Country Club “the best course in Florida”. In 2025, the newly renovated Bay Hill Clubhouse and facilities will be one of the best golfing destinations. A new premium hospitality area, The Lakehouse is also available for this year's event. Located between the 16th green and 17th tee, it has a covered, open-air, elevated, and fully furnished space.

Arnold Palmer Invitational 2025 Format

landscape of bay hill club

The Arnold Palmer Invitational 2025 is a big 72-hole stroke play tournament where each player plays 4 rounds (18 holes each). After the first two rounds (Thursday & Friday) the cut is made and only the top 65 and ties make the weekend, the rest are eliminated. The winner is the player with the lowest total score over 72 holes. If 2 or more are tied at the end, a sudden death playoff starts at the 18th hole and goes to extra holes if needed.

Each player has 40 seconds to hit and penalties may be enforced for slow play. If a ball goes out of bounds or in a water hazard it’s a penalty stroke. In case of weather like rain or lightning, the tournament officials will adjust the schedule. If the final round can’t be completed the leader from the last completed round is the winner.
